Our May Release is full of beautiful color palettes, wonderful inspiration from the Pinquettes, and fabulous sparkle and shine as we celebrate SHADES of SUMMER.

I'm so glad you are back for Day #2. The New release items are so gorgeous. I made two projects for you today.
My first project I painted a birdhouse to go into my Scrap Cove as a decorative piece. My Scrap Cove is Lime green with Black and white Zebra so I painted it to match. I wanted to incorporate one of the new release items so I thought that the Bright safari Blooms would be so cute on the front and add some POP of color. So I hot glued it to the front of the house and added a little birdie on top.


For my next project I made a card. I was sent the cutest lady bug button. I love to use these as centers of flowers.
I spritzed a doilie with my Red Smootches, added a tag that said "Little Lady". (get it Lady bug) :)
Attached a flower and put the button in the center and used a stick pin that had a glittery lady bug on it and used some glitter ladybug stickers that I had in my stash.

Well HELLO Lovely People!!! I'm glad you have stopped by today to see what lovely items Pinque Peacock has available for you! I decided to make a card. Now I know you are saying , a card, REALLY.. what is so special about that... Well Its special because I don't do cards.. But I saw this AWESOME picture of this Divine lady with a peacock on her shoulder and I had to use her on something, so I made a card.
I layered her on cardstock, added a doily some rhinestones, burlap, a satin flower I made, and put the fabulous April  release peacock button in the center. I hope that you will go over and check out the selection of items you can purchase at Pinque Peacock , you will fall in LOVE!!

My project is a two page 12 x 12 scrapbook page Called "Owl Love You Forever". I used Out on a Limb Cutouts to put my page together. First picture shows the Owl that I put together. Isn't she SWEET!!


Next I had to put all the flowers and leaves together. This was the longest part of the process.

For my project I made a cute notepad to keep up with all the FUN things you are going to do this Spring since the weather will be nice!! It has a magnet on the back so you can put it on your fridge and jot down notes as you go. I used the New March release items. Beautiful purple felt popper flower and I stuck two of the angel pins thru it. On the side I used 3 Girl Jam ribbon to tie the pad closed and since the CUTE buttons have eyelets it threaded thru the ribbon just nicely to add to the closure. I cute out the word BLOOM and put it on the bottom. I'm READY for the flowers!!!!! I hope you enjoy the hop this weekend, and all the projects these ladies will be showing you. Hi everyone!! Hope you are having fun on this 3 day hop, Us Pinquettes were so excited to get our FIRST hop rolling for you. As you know by now Green is the Theme! I don't know about you, but I have forgot to wear green on this day sometimes, so I came across this Keep Calm sign on the internet and I just knew I had to use it in my project. I printed it on cardstock and used stickles on the clover to give it some "bling". Card ix 6 x 6 in size, I faux stitched around the edges. Layered some green zebra glitter paper, added a doily ( my DT sister Donna from day 2 uses doily's on her fabulous items, so I thought I would try my hand at it. Added some beads on the bottom. The flower I made from white satin fabric. I used my misting spray to make it green. Added some pearl strings and feathers to finish it off. I hope our projects inspire you to craft today!! Please remember to follow the rules and you could win a GC to get some fabulous items to craft with.

Chipboard Album 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 
I worked on a new style of paperbag album today. Loved how it turned out. It has a sturdy chipboard cover. I used all kinds of goodies in my stash. K & Co. paper thru out. Prima mulberry flowers. I made a satin flower to go on the side and some charms dangling from the spine and front cover. 24 pages, 12 tags, and a waterfall style page for more pictures.
