Hello to all of our Pretty Little Peacocks

Welcome to Pinque Peacock’s
SEPTEMBER BLOG HOP
"A PIRATES LIFE"
DAY #2

We hope you will enjoy your time as you hop and that you feel inspired to create after visiting the Talented Pinquettes' Blogs! This hop will showcase projects that have been created using some of the Newer Products from Pinque Peacock.

We are thrilled to have you joining us this month! This release is showcasing some of the Products that have been in the shop for a short time already. But now, the PINQUETTES get to DO THEIR THING, and show how wonderful and fun they are to work with on a variety of projects and creations.

Our September Release will focus on the theme: "A PIRATES LIFE".... Arrr!!!

I wanted to do a little something different for this project. When I think of pirates I think of them sitting on the ship all dirty and drinking up some RUM!! So I  got my Cricut out and went to town on making a vinyl skull. I thought it would be perfect on the front of the Stein. I had to add some red bling on the bottom for us girl pirates!   I made a grungy tag by inking up the sides with distressing ink , sprayed it with a silver misting spray, and used my brown viva color pen to add the "pearls" on the sides , stamped a skull and cross bone on it and put the AWESOME Pinque Peacock boat button on the tag to represent the pirate ship! The tag has a pocket so you can store your treasures inside!

Don't you just love the Stitched Tugboat button!!

I also got this very cool fabric skull in my PP goodie bag and had to use it, so I made a simple card to go along with the theme. Hope you are enjoying all the wonderful projects this weekend. And come back tomorrow for some more from some talented ladies that I call friends!!!

Your next stop is Mary. You will be amazed at her project!

A wide array of products were pulled together to work the PIRATE THEME this Month

Large Chevy Metal Fabric Covered Buttons
Felt Poppers (in Fushia, Stonewash, Midnight Black and Seaside Blue)

You Make the World a Better Place.
Hello on this beautiful Wednesday! I have been so busy this summer, I have neglected my blog. I did get to play a little in my cove on Labor Day. So I wanted to share with you what I made. My sweet and talented friend Donna from Created by Donna K let me borrow a card die from her so I had to get working real fast to make some cards so I could get it back to her. I had fun whipping up cards left and right. The sentiment on the front of the card is my message to her.

Sunday, July 21, 2013

HELLO!!! Well I don't know about you, but I have had a tough week. I knew what would make me feel better. So I went to the scrap cove and worked on my Pinque Peacock project. And YES, I felt so much better when I got this beauty finished.
I made a notebook 4 x 6 in size. I covered it in Zebra paper, I figured it would go with my CRAZY week that I had. My precious friend Donna K had gave me some paper stacks and this big Tag was in the stack and I loved the quirky little flowers on it. I glittered them up a little, added some 3 Girl Jam ribbon around it, and added the BEAUTIFUL Pinque Peacock stick pin from the new July release Disney theme. It had all the colors of my flowers on that one bead and I thought it would go perfect. Added me a little 3D butterfly on top.
Be sure to go shopping at Pinque Peacock and get your Stick pins!!

Today I have made a Disney themed Layout and showcased the Pinque Peacock button and swirl flower on my page. My nephew went to Disney and had a blast. If only I could get my sister to hurry up and print out the pictures. I decided while I'm waiting on her, I would go ahead a create a two page spread. He loved the parade with all the fireworks, so I based the pages on that.

Here you can see the button on the right inside the firework
Here I used the swirl flower

Hope you have had a GREAT weekend. I'm here
today to show you a little something I made and added
the finishing touch with one of Pinque Peacocks preciousbuttons
There are SO many fabrics to choose from. You have to go
over there and take a look. You will fall in love just like I did.
I made a card with a peacock on there of course. I put
some feathers and embossed a piece of cardstock with
peacock folder. Finished it off with my satin bloom with
Pinque Peacock button in the center.

Hi everyone. I'm so excited today to be next in line to celebrate Down the Memory Lane's 1 year blog anniversary!! Nupur Patel is such a sweet gentle soul , and has asked crafty ladies from all over the world to join in. She is having an Amazing Giveaway so please go to her blog and show her some love!!

For my project today I made a card. I used my stash of scrap papers to make it. I printed the cute butterfly from Call me Victorian free printables online. The image of the red head is a piece that I got from Megan Suarez Fine art. She is amazingly talented and has digi stamps available to buy as well. My sentiment says WISH, because I wish Nupur much success with her blog, and many more years of inspiring us with her talent.

I’m so glad you came by today. I hope you are stopping by because you seen me on my precious freind Kim's blog  Polka Dotted Bliss I hope I don’t scare you with my Hording problem…

4 years ago I was taking over my husbands office in the house. He was so kind to give me a little space off to the side, but as you know , us women that create can never have enough space. So my little space became a big problem for him. He wanted me to clean up after my night of crafting. I did not want to do that every time, because I was never “finished” with what I was working on. I hated to put all my stuff away, just to have to drag it back out when I got a chance to craft again. So for my birthday he surprised me with a card saying that he was going to build me a Scrap cove. ALL MINE, to have all the room I wanted to create. That was the best day ever!!! So he started working on it right away that summer and within no time, I was ready to move in.
This is the picture of my Scrap cove ( my little piece of Heaven) that he built me.

I loved it so much, he bought me a desk and cabinet set to put in there, and I immediately          started putting stuff in.
My mother in law made me curtains to go inside.

I love my little window to look outside.

But wait.... as time went on. Remember it has been four years. I have acumalated more and more, because I had so much space to put things. So I started my obsession with scrapbooking and as my husband says when he walks in, This looks like you have bought out a scrapbook store that went bankrupt... eeeksss.
so here is the view when you walk in now.
Yes I have bought to much!! I admit it, but I have so much fun creating in this space. Its' my space, and I love to go out here and have my ME time ALONE and just be FREE.
It might look like a caotic mess, but I know were everything is. He installed me racks on top to hold my baskets and boxes. Every box and basket is catagorized with specific items I need. I have them seperated by holiday or theme. I know what box to pull when I'm working on something.
I got this at Hobby Lobby one year as a present for Mothers day. It holds ribbon, brads, and other embellishments inside the drawers.
I bought this when Kimberly posted it on Facebook that there was a major sale on a website. So I had to purchase it. I love it even though it does not hold all the ribbon I own.
Here is some more ribbon that I color cordinate in cute jars on top of the cabinet. Easy to get to.
This is my special orginzational tip to give you today. It is a shoe holder, but I put my stamps inside. The clear pockets lets me see what I need to get quickly!
This was another gift years ago that my hubby bought me. I have it labeled as to what drawer holds what.

I love the cabinets that are in the desk set. They hold so much, and out of site.
I bought this Card stand and peg board from Mrs. Donna K from  Created by DonnaK last year.
She was selling some items that she didn't want anymore. So her sweet husband was going to a bike race that weekend, and he brought it to me. I love the card stand. It keeps my cards organized and ready to pluck when I need to send one off in the mail. The beg board houses some of my embellishments that are still in packages, and I put my florals on top so its easy to see them when I need to use them on my projects. The little desk I picked up at a yard sale for $1. I have all my lose glitters and mist in the drawers.

this little kitchen basket holds my stickles and paints.

I even have a little chair that sits in the corner for my hubby to sit in when he comes out to hang with me. He has his guitar amp out here and plays and sings to me. Gives me some MOJO to keep crafting sometimes.

Well I believe that is all to show you in my little Scrap Cove. I will leave you with a view from my french doors. All the little birdies like to sit in that tree and talk to me!! I hope I did not scare you to much with my mess, but its a beautiful mess to me!!!! Have a great weekend.
